This series of figures were produced using very wet clay so that the women sank and relaxed into their resting position as the clay dried. They are inspired by that feeling of calm exhaustion when one finally rests and feels the body turn soft, heavy and doughy.
This figure is designed to rest along the edge of a shelf, fireplace or windowsill.
